Amador County Fair

Event Dates: July 26, 2012 - July 29, 2012
It’s apparent when you enter the gates of the Amador County Fair that life in the fast lane must be left behind. Old West storefronts beckon you to shop, eat or rest on the boardwalk with an ice cream cone. Shady trees and colorful flower-lined walkways invite a leisurely stroll through the displays of hand made quilts and jars of blue-ribbon preserves. The past continues to pull you through the intimate fairgrounds to visit the authentic Miwok Indian Village, the turn of the century sawmill, an authentic gold mine, and to the display of refurbished antique gas and steam engines chugging and churning along.
The Amador County Fair takes place every July.
Everything has been created, restored, and staffed by a community of volunteers who love their Fair and are committed to the traditions and the rich heritage of the county. They are passing it forward so we remember, so others can learn and appreciate, so our youth can carry on.
Of course the Amador County Fair provides all that you would expect from a county fair including Carnival Rides, Livestock Show, Concerts, Rodeo, Truck and Hot Rod Tractor Pulls, Destruction Derby, corn dogs, kids and fun! The Amador County Fair is rich – with friends and family and good neighbors. We invite you to join us!
