Every California wine region has its share of renowned families whose chronicles contribute to the unique lore of the area. In the Sierra Foothills, one of these legendary families is the Deavers of Amador County’s Shenandoah Valley. The Deavers, owners of Amador Harvest Inn, are the 5th generation of their family to run Deaver Ranch and vineyards. They still produce wine from 150 year old Mission grapes grown on their farm. The inn sits on the grounds of Deaver Vineyards tasting room and about a mile from Amador Flower Farm, the family's 14 acre day lily farm with demonstration gardens and walking trails and fall pumpkin patch!
