Angels Camp RV & Camping Resort

Comfy 1 or 2 room cabins

Quiet, secure family resort in the center of historic California Gold Country. While the area is recognized as home to the Frog Jumping Jubilee and Grape Stomp, it offers much more. A fun place to stay while visiting all the local wineries, caverns, championship golf courses, quaint little towns, panning for gold, fishing, boating or simply enjoying the outdoors. The Resort is adjacent to the Calaveras County Fairgrounds and across Highway 49 from the 4th largest lake in the state, New Melones.

Friendly staff and nice amenities: clean bathrooms/showers, wonderful outdoor kitchen pavilion, cute cabins, lodges, private tent sites, playground for the kids, seasonal pool, great beach volleyball court, horseshoes, laundry, small convenience store and don't miss the resident EMU the Resort "adopted." He, Big Bird, is a favorite of guests young and old.

This resort is a wonderful "home away from home" in the Sierra Nevada area. Groups and pets welcome. Nightly, weekly, monthly or extended stay rates available.

Driving Directions

In the Central Sierra foothills, east of Stockton and Modesto. The nearest freeway is 65 miles west of us, but the quiet atmosphere and scenery make the slower pace more enjoyable. Camp is located just 2 miles south of the city of Angels Camp on historic Highway 49.

 Eco-Friendly Notes

Almost an acre of SOLAR PANELS were recently added to help generate electricity for the resort. It is an awesome sight! The park is virtually self-sufficient with their own water source and sewer treatment facility. A pen and small shed were built last year for the "adopted" EMU they rescued; informational signs for visitors to learn about the fascinating Big Bird are an appreciated and educational personal touch.

 Locally or Family Owned Business

 Pet Friendly Notes
Pets are allowed but must be on a leash. There is a one-time $5 per pet fee per stay. No Pitt Bulls or Rottweilers allowed.
