Event Dates: July 21, 2012
Fall River Mills is nestled in a pristine Fall River Valley in northeastern California. The area offers many opportunities to ride in solitude with commanding views of two of California's most famous volcanoes: Mt. Shasta to the northwest and Lassen Peak to the south. The Fall River Century, held on the third Saturday of July every year, is a spectacular ride on a great route designed to capitalize on all the scenic wonders of the area.
There are several options for riders; a 25 mile ride, a 100 kilometer ride (62 miles), a century ride (100 miles) and a double metric ride, 200 kilometers or 134 miles. There will be sag wagons (support vehicles), mechanics, and lots of well stocked rest stops. A celebration dinner is provided for all riders, including a vegetarian option. For early risers, the American Legion offers a hearty breakfast to help you get ready for your ride.
