Antoinette's Coffee and Goodies

Antoinette's Coffee and Goodies is the best place to enjoy your morning brew and connect with people in Three Rivers. You are as likely to run into an old timer as to make a new friend with an international tourist. Local residents enjoy having a coffee shop in town again. Young people are likely to stop by the shop for a smoothie on their way to cool off in the river. An eco-tourist couple may purchase some coffee beans or whole-leaf tea on the way to their camping spot in the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.
This is a great place to grab a cup of locally-roasted, organic coffee, a house-made muffin and perhaps a little tidbit of the colorful history of Three Rivers. The shop is open early for those on the road and at least one breakfast item is always available. WiFi is available to help patrons stay in touch and there is an adjoining room perfect for meetings, social gatherings and private parties.
Antoinette's is housed in the old post office building built in the 1960s. It actually sits atop the original road entrance to the North Fork Bridge crossing. The building, of course, did not exist then and folks crossed to the community of Kaweah using the bridge built in 1939. The great flood of 1955 pushed the steel structure on its side, breaking it from its abutments. Residents had to ferry mail and groceries across a guy wire until the waters of the Kaweah River receded. The bridge entrance still stands behind the shop and is a nice place to sip your coffee and take in the beautiful view of the surrounding hills.
