Auburn Big Time-Pow Wow

Enjoy the day-long celebration of Native American culture and dance at the Gold Country Fairground from 10 AM - 10 PM. Presented by the Sierra Native Alliance, this annual event "honors families and children of yesterday and today" through inter-tribal dancing, cultural demonstrations, and native arts, crafts and foods.
The Gold Country Fairground is located in Downtown Auburn in close proximity to many trail heads and the Auburn Recreation area. Ample parking makes for easy access to this truly wonderful cultural event. The Sierra Native Alliance empowers Native American youth, families and communities through education, cultural resources and environmental activities. The Auburn Big Time-Pow Wow provides an opportunity for cultural sharing and education for all ages.
