Auburn Old Town Gallery

Auburn Old Town Gallery in Auburn, California is an artists' cooperative. Established in 1995, the Gallery features the works of 60 local artists who explore a wide range of media. Visitors to the Gallery can buy original artwork directly from the local artists. The Gallery is located at 218 Washington Street in the heart of historic Old Town Auburn, in the old livery stable building, next to Bootlegger's restaurant. The city of Auburn, in the foothills of the Sierra mountains, was founded during the Gold Rush of 1849. Now you can find new treasures in Auburn Old Town Gallery. Visit the Gallery and wander around Old Town Auburn for a taste of history.
Works include pastel; oil & watercolor paintings; etchings; ink, pencil & charcoal drawings; jewelry; pottery & ceramics; metal & wire sculpture; photography; painted silk & batik; fiber art; wood work & furniture; blown & fused glass, mosaic and pysanky (decorated eggs).
Each artist works in the gallery eight hours a month so when you shop, you will have the opportunity to talk to one of the artists and learn about their techniques.
All the Gallery artists are accomplished in their own field; some are nationally and internationally known and many have won awards for their works.
Seasons Open: Year round
Hours Open: The gallery is open daily from 10 am - 6 pm and evenings until 9 pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
