Bear Creek Cabins, Midpines, CA

With Yosemite National Park only 19 miles away, Bear Creek Cabins is an ideal base for: rafting, swimming, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, bird watching and many other activities. The log cabin pictured includes two rooms and two suites. At the entry, there is a Yosemite Area Rapid Transit (YARTS) bus stop. Round trip into Yosemite is $12. A trip into the nearby town of Mariposa is $1 each way. The site is sheltered by pine and oak trees and overlooking Bear Creek, 9 miles east of Mariposa, California.

The suites have two queen beds: one in the upstairs bedroom and one in the downstairs living room. They also feature a fireplace, sofa sleeper, kitchen and a bathroom with a tub and shower. They sleep 4-6, $139.

Standard rooms feature one queen bed and a sleeper sofa or two queen beds. They have a kitchenette and a bathroom with a tub and shower. They sleep 2-4, $99.

The rustic cabin features 2 queen beds, bathroom, a large shower and a full kitchen. Sleeps 2-4, $109.

Driving Directions

Bear Creek Cabins is located between Merced and Yosemite on Hwy. 140. Take Hwy. 99 from Los Angeles or Sacramento to Merced. From San Francisco take 580 East to Hwy. 132. At Modesto take Hwy. 99 South to Merced and Hwy 140 East through Mariposa. Bear Creek Cabins is 9 miles past Mariposa. You will see our sign on the left. Turn left and follow the Bear Creek Cabins' signs.
