Convict Lake Resort

Convict Lake Resort is a destination for all four seasons including cabins, a general store, full service marina, camping, a five star restaurant, catering services, wedding planning and party rentals.

We offer an enjoyable experience at any time of year for families, groups and individuals.

Note: Operating under permit with the Inyo National Forest.

 

Lodging Style and Amenities

Vacation in one of our 27 comfortable mountain cabins and three houses. There are accommodations available for two to 34 persons. Our deluxe cabins feature jetted bathtubs, steam showers and fireplaces.

Our three large houses have outdoor hot tubs, washers and dryers. All cabins have barbecues. Each features a TV with HBO and a DVD player, a fully equipped kitchen, including all necessary utensils, a coffee maker and a supply of premium coffee.

We provide towels, bedding and pillows as well. A coin-operated laundry is available and tokens may be purchased at the General Store. Charcoal for the BBQ's and everything else you might need, is sold at the General Store.

Recreational Opportunities

Fishing season is open from the end of April to mid November of each year, please check with DFG for specific dates per season. We have a full service marina with motor boat, pontoon boat, kayak and canoe rentals on Convict Lake for the Season.

During the summer months we also offer guided scenic horseback rides to the back side of the lake.

Spring wildflowers, fall foliage and abundant wildlife are always a pleasure to view and photograph.

If you are visiting in the winter stay in one of our cozy cabins just ten minutes from Mammoth and enjoy dining in rustic elegance at the Restaurant at Convict Lake.

Rate Range: We have a variety of cabin sizes from $139/nt for one bedroom cabins to $1099/nt for hours that sleep 34 people. We also offer spring and fall lodging specials.

Driving Directions

Hwy 395 is the main artery running north and south through California's Eastern Sierra Nevada. No matter where you begin, you'll use Hwy 395 to access Convict Lake. It's a beautiful drive. Be sure to enjoy the many points of interest along the way. Once you get get past Crowley Lake coming north or see the Mammoth/Yosemite Airport coming south look for the Convict Lake Road Turnoff. Convict Lake is just two miles off 395 across from the Mammoth/Yosemite Airport.

 Pet Friendly Notes
We do allow pets in our cabins with a minimal fee and ask that you please keep your pet on a leash around the resort grounds.

I have sat and fished for hours along the banks of Convict Lake and didn't care whether I caught a fish or not (although you usually do!!) because the view is just magnificent!!
