Coulterville Cemetery

Coulter Family plot
About this Site

The cemetery has been in continuous use since the 1850s. George and Margaret Coulter, founders of Coulterville, are buried in the center of this historic cemetery, just above the oak tree. Grave markers also display the names of many other Coulterville pioneer families including the Bruschis, Cuneos, Fiskes, Greeleys, Murphys, Musantes and many others. The intricate rock-work seen in the cemetery is the work of John Musante.
