A Parade, Car Show, Live Music, Vendors, Food & Refreshments, Petting Zoo & Kids Korner, 50/50 Horseshoe contest and goods overflowing onto the sidewalks throughout Historic Main St., along with the truly unique 30th Annual COYOTE HOWLING CONTEST, make this a great day in Historic Coulterville... the gold rush town that didn't dry up and blow away!  Come on out and exercise your vocal cords and give it a experience required!  This annual - now re-imagined event - takes place EVERY YEAR in late September  in the town at the base of the John Muir Historic Route into Yosemite intersecttion of Hwys 49 & 132).

The parade and car show starts at 10 am. Competition in the Howling Contest, with categories of Adult, Child, Adult Coyote Pak and 'Pup-Pak' will begin at noon and continue thorough-out the afternoon. Cash prizes in all categories. 

The park features the Coyote Hill band performances from 10 am - 4 pm as well as other entertainment, the Coyote Howl contest, Horseshoe Contest, booths, Kiddy Korner, Bounce House and more!

Main St. features Parade, Car Show,  Wild West Comedy Shows and music by Geri & The Atrics

Admission Fee (if any)

There is free admission to the parade, car show, Wild West show and Road Runner cartoon shows on Historic Main st. as well as the activities in the Coulterville Park. No cover charge to listen to great music all day long. You can bring a picnic basket or munch on food and refreshment from one of the reasonably priced vendors or mosey on over to one of the towns three open food establishments: The Coulter Cafe, Mary Lou's Cup of Brew and the Cakewalk Bakery.

Participation Requirements (if any)

CAR Exhibition: Antiques, Classics, Hot Rods, Sports cars or any other unique vehicle.

Coyote Howl:  Open to all ages, both groups and individuals.

50/50 Horseshoe Contest - team of 2

Parade: People- including bands, mounted groups, clubs, schools, etc.; vehicles, equines and other animals all welcome!

ADA Accessibility Notes

Park facilities are not fully up to current ADA standards but bathroom is handicapped accessible and it is flat with some paved access..

Pet Friendly Notes

Pets are welcome on leashes at the event.
