Fall River Hotel

Located in the picturesque Fall River Valley between Mt. Lassen and Mt. Shasta,  the Fall River Hotel sits at the gateway to outdoor adventure. Long a fixture in the Fall River Valley, this historic building dates back to 1935. After a fire destroyed his original business, Jack Keeler rebuilt using stone to ensure the Hotel would never burn down again. The current owners, Scott and Sandra Jensen, have worked to restore the Fall River Hotel to its original charm. A visit from George, the hotel’s resident ghost, may add just the right touch of mystery to your stay. Guests claim that George has been spotted roaming the halls and has been a guest in the dining room, hoping for a taste of a juicy steak.

The Fall River Hotel is a fisherman’s dream location for access to the Fall River, Pit River and Hat Creek, all spring fed waters with conditions that provide some of the best fishing in Northern California. The Fall River Golf Course is a “hidden gem” according to Golf Magazine, which gave the course a 4.5 star rating. Other area attractions include Lassen Volcanic National Park, McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park, Subway & Ice Caves, Ahjumawi Lava Springs State Park, the Fort Crook Museum, and miles of hiking and mountain biking.  Access to the Pacific Crest Trail is close by. Boating and kayaking opportunities abound on the numerous lakes and rivers.
