The moment you enter the spacious historic Brignole building that now houses The Fine Eye Gallery in historic Sutter Creek, a rush of color and unexpected wonderment engages you. The Fine Eye Gallery pays homage to the craftsmanship of the native limestone building, built in 1858 by Bartolome Brignole as a general store, by showcasing the fine craftsmanship of today with respect to the historic interior of the building, a melding of new artistry by local and regional artists complements this magnificent interior.
Throughout the gallery, visual artful delights abound with vivid colors, crunchy textures, shimmering metals and precious stones. The architectural ceiling joists, iron pegged beams and the original 1858 storage bins is a delightful juxtaposition of then and now. From sophisticated and stylish to playful and whimsical, quality works from talented artisans are gathered for your enjoyment.
Fine Eye Gallery owner Gail Pimlott opened the gallery in 1990 with a passion for promoting American artisans. The Gallery’s collection of works reflects the innovative talents of the individual artists and fit with today’s lifestyles. Fine Eye’s engaging staff is dedicated to exceeding your wants and wishes in providing excellent customer service.
