Fishing is not just an activity in the Eastern Sierra, it is a passion. You'll find scores of lakes, rivers, and streams populated by brookies, browns, rainbows, cutthroats, and the occasional golden trout. Fly-fishing, spin casting, and bait fishing - from a boat, float tube, or the shore are all popular in Mono County.
Fishing Season in Mono County is from the last Saturday in April to November 15 of each year. Topaz Lake Fishing season is from January 1 to November 15 each year.
Hire a local guide to give you the insider's info on what's biting and where.
