Fraser Flat & Strawberry Bike Trail

Miles of back roads, logging trails, and old railroad right-of-ways lead you on an adventure with the best possible views of scenic Tuolumne County.

You can walk or bicycle many old railroad grades: One of the best is between Fraser Flat & Strawberry: the old Strawberry Branch of the Sugar Pine Railway, which runs along the south bank of the South Fork Stanislaus River.

Route Directions

Can ride west to east & return or arrange for pickup in Strawberry or Frasure Flat. Mild grade as was previously used for logging trains.

Easy - Good for All Ages

Rail trail is wide enough to accommodate ADA. Grade is approx. 8% maximum.

 Pet Friendly Notes

Pets on leash. Bring pooper bags. Be courteous to fellow hikers & bikers.
