Located in the center of South Lake Tahoe, Gaia-Licious is a fresh alternative, bridging the gap between the beautiful mountains and the funky city life. Gaia-Licious offers a relaxed and inspirational shopping experience, providing an eclectic fusion of gifts, clothing, body care products, music and books. Fair trade and eco friendly products made by local artisans and communities around the world are also available at the inviting little shop bursting with creative gifts for all ages.

Gaia-Licious was opened in September 2006, by Kelly Brosch and husband Felix and with the generous help of friends and family members. Gaia comes from Greek mythology and she is the goddess of the earth, often referred to as Mother Earth.

The store is a combination of the many places Kelly and Felix have traveled to and desire to see. Gaia-Licious is about honoring the earth and its many unique cultures. Playing international music, burning incense, playing board games out front on sunny days, the owners encourage shoppers to hang out, relax and enjoy the vibe. Special events include live DJ’s, Belly Dancers, and Tea Tastings. Gaia-Licious also has a kids lounge in back with books, puzzles and art supplies.
