Good Dirty Fun

Good Dirty Fun is a great summer activity for students in middle school and high school. The work is physical but rewarding, and students get the chance to learn the value of wise trail building and maintenance.

Join the Truckee Trails Foundation and Truckee Donner Land Trust for an exciting time restoring, maintaining, and building trails in Truckee. Good Dirty Fun is our way of getting bikers, hikers, and equestrian riders on the other side of the recreation equation, if ya' know what we mean.

Grab a shovel (and a variety of other tools) and join us on Wednesday evenings and Saturdays in the summer to create and maintain a solid network of dirt trails. Earn swag the more times you come! Trail crew t-shirts, hard hats, and stickers are distributed each time you put some sweat into the local trails network. Post-Wednesday work concludes at Cottonwood Restaurant where trail workers convene for food and drinks.
