Hunewill Ranch is situated in the lovely Bridgeport Valley at 6500' in the heart of the eastern Sierra. The view from the ranch is a vivid expanse of irrigated grassy meadow surrounded by towering mountains. Directly behind the ranch are the snow covered crags which mark the boundary of Yosemite National Park. This 4500 acre cattle ranch, founded in 1861 by Ester and Napoleon Bonaparte Hunewill, is still owned and operated by the Hunewill family. Circle H Guest Ranch, which has been part of the ranch since 1931, attracts people who prefer the simplicity and informality of a genuine cattle ranch.

Horseshoes, ping-pong and volleyball are always available at the ranch. Hikers and fishermen will find many trails, lakes and streams in the nearby mountains.
