Kernville Fat Tire Festival

Kernville is where it's at for our annual Kernville Fat Tire Festival staged over three days each year in October. Come join us for one, two or three days of total immersion in biking activities for all riding abilities. Bring your riding club or come to meet other riding enthusiasts, just like you.

Instead of our annual Festival-style trail riding, we are offering all you Cannell Trail and Just Outstanding diehards a chance to ride multiple trails each day, within this three-day event. You'll be able to ride Just Outstanding Trail twice in one day, if you would like. Or, ride Cannell Trail in the morning and then Just Outstanding in the afternoon.

Following are featured trail options during ShuttleFest located in the Sequoia National Forest-

Greenhorn Summit Loop (Beginner)
25-30 miles of dirt roads. Start at 6,900 feet elevation. Two to three loops at 6,000 feet. Views, climbs, descents. Final descent is twelve miles to the valley floor. Ride finishes with an eight mile ride back to MRA Campground on pavement. Three to four hour ride.

Alta Sierra (Intermediate to Advanced)
20-25 miles of dirt roads & single track. Challenge “Just Outstanding” and leap into “Whoop-ty Do”! Forest, chaparral, dirt and sand. Final descent is twelve miles to the valley floor. Three to four hour ride.
