A wonderful quaint space nestled in the Sierra foothills, La Cabaña is a truly authentic Mexican restaurant owned and operated by Miguel and Patricia Arcé. The menu offers a unique selection of specialized regional Mexican food from the owners' hometown of Michoacán Mexico. The service is always friendly and helpful and the homemade bread (baked daily by Miguel) is truly a treat. La Cabaña offers unusual dishes such as Molotés and Sopés, unique to Michoacán, made with traditional authentic Mexican ingredients, dishes you won't find on just any Mexican restaurant menu.

Miguel and Patricia also create their own unusual dinner special recipes each week using unique combinations of sauces with various fruits and seasonings.

La Cabaña was founded in 1996 by Miguel and Patricia Arcé after years of working in the sophisticated upscale cuisine industry at such well known restaurants as The Redwoods and Erna's Elderberry House.

Miguel wanted to go out on his own to share his home State's unique Mexican cuisine, at an affordable price and because the time had come to make his own unique culinary statement. And has he ever.
