This business has grown over the last 33 years to be a very interesting and often frequented by return customers, because of it's uniqueness and variety of inventory and friendly helpful staff. The building it resides in was built shortly after the previous "Adobe" building crumbled, due to the earthquake of 1872. At this time Charles & Madeleine Meysan were running the 'Meysan Mercantile' in the front of the store and lived with their 10 children in the back of the store. In 1873, Charles had a wood frame building erected. In the alley behind this building, stands the only remaining "Adobe brick wall".

Seasons Open: All seasons 9:00 A.M. -5:00 P.M. everyday but Sunday & major holidays

The building has four entrance doors, making it possible to access all parts of the store in a wheel chair.

We have a secure fenced outdoor area that is very inviting for your pets, and since we have raised three litters of Siberian Huskies here, we would welcome you to bring you pet for a cool drink of water and a treat.
