The only college in South Lake Tahoe, this world class wilderness education program is affordable for local and Nevada residents.

This unique opportunity to become well informed, by an expert, was recently started. The benefits of this program is the ability to train many local guides, help people protect and understand local environments, and increase backcountry safety. The program is also able to increase the job skills of outdoor professionals.

Classes are held Quarterly at Lake Tahoe Community College, and the schedule is available online.
