The Lyn-Mar Pond Guest Ranch home sits in a secluded area behind a beautiful pond.

Lyn-Mar Pond Guest Ranch near Oakhurst, is an ideal getaway for a vacation, romantic weekend, off-site business meeting, small wedding, family reunion or you name it!

Located in North Fork, the "exact center" of California, we're surrounded by the Sierra National Forest in the Sierra Nevadas. Yosemite is just 30 minutes away. Guests enjoy watersports, fishing and swimming at nearby Bass Lake, Mammoth Pool, the San Joaquin River and Redinger Lake. Horseback riding is 10 miles up the road. You can ride a steam train through the woods or enjoy an old time melodrama.

Bed and Breakfast Style

The 42 acre Lyn-Mar Ranch, located on the Sierra Vista Scenic Byway, was built in 1928 by the DeMasters family who came from back east and settled this region. The guest ranch opened in 2005 by Mark and Lynne Williams so folks would have a place to stay while visiting, and enjoying the many points of interest. i.e. Ross Cabin, Whiskey Falls, Redinger Overlook, Mile High overlook, Globe Rock and many more sites located in the Sierra Nevada.  The ranch can accomadate up to 20 people at a time.  Continental breakfast is served upon request.

Range of Rates: $95 to $300 per night, depending upon the season and holiday schedules

This property is owned and operated by Mark and  Lynne Williams who moved here from the San Francisco Bay Area to open this beautiful spot in the Sierra Nevada mountains so folks would have a place to stay.

 ADA Accessibility Notes

Located in a valley filled with seasonal wild flowers on a half mile long paved driveway with limited ADA accessibility.

 Eco-Friendly Notes

The ranch house is heated with propane from a local company. We have a artisian well fed by the Sierra Mountains. The pond is fed by local rain and three underground springs. No hunting is allowed so the many deer and other animals are safe.
