The Mariposa Hotel Inn is located in the heart of historic downtown Mariposa near the southern end of the Highway 49, which travels through California's gold rush country (also know as the Mother Lode). This unique hotel is situated on the second floor of the historic Stolder Building, which was constructed in 1901.

Lodging Style and Amenities

The Hotel comprises six lovely, spacious rooms individually decorated in a historic theme. Rooms are complete with contemporary amenities including cable TV, WiFi internet, in-room coffee and tea, hair dryer, and private bathrooms. All rooms are furnished with King or Queen beds, and two have a daybed to sleep four total.

In the morning, coffee/tea, spiced cider, and hot chocolate are served with Biscotti (in the summer, on the Garden Veranda). In the evening, fresh popped popcorn is available.

Garden Veranda: Out the back door is a surprise oasis in the middle of town; a lovely garden deck where guests socialize and view Mariposa Creek and the pine, oak, and chaparral covered hillsides above.

The hotel is a great place to gather with friends and relatives or to celebrate special occasions. When booking all six rooms, the hotel becomes your own private space (a 14-day cancellation notice is required).
