Mariposa Hotel Inn

The Mariposa Hotel Inn is located in the heart of historic downtown Mariposa near the southern end of the Highway 49, which travels through California's gold rush country (also know as the Mother Lode). This unique hotel is situated on the second floor of the historic Stolder Building, which was constructed in 1901.
The Hotel comprises six lovely, spacious rooms individually decorated in a historic theme. Rooms are complete with contemporary amenities including cable TV, WiFi internet, in-room coffee and tea, hair dryer, and private bathrooms. All rooms are furnished with King or Queen beds, and two have a daybed to sleep four total.
In the morning, coffee/tea, spiced cider, and hot chocolate are served with Biscotti (in the summer, on the Garden Veranda). In the evening, fresh popped popcorn is available.
Garden Veranda: Out the back door is a surprise oasis in the middle of town; a lovely garden deck where guests socialize and view Mariposa Creek and the pine, oak, and chaparral covered hillsides above.
The hotel is a great place to gather with friends and relatives or to celebrate special occasions. When booking all six rooms, the hotel becomes your own private space (a 14-day cancellation notice is required).

Private Pilots: We pick up and deliver registered guests at the Mariposa/Yosemite Airport.
Located in the center of the downtown Historic District, you walk out the front door of the hotel to an array of unique shops, restaurants, and galleries.

From Highway 99 at Merced, take California State Route 140 (the "All Year Highway" into Yosemite Naitonal Park) east about 35 miles to the town of Mariposa. The hotel, at 5029 Highway 140, is on the left in the middle of the block of historic buildings that is "Historic Downtown Mariposa", between 5th and 6th streets..
Coming from the North on California State Route 49, when you enter the town of Mariposa, turn right at the junction with Highway 140 (stop sign), and proceed downhill through town to the Historic Downtown area, between 6th and 5th streets; the hotel will be on your right.
Coming from Yosemite National Park, continue through town to the Historic Downtown Area, and the hotel is on your right, between 6th and 5th streets.
Coming from the South on Highway 49, you'll merge onto Highway 140, pass 4th and 5th streets, and the hotel will be on the left in the middle of the bock between 5th and 6th streets.
