The North Tahoe Regional Park is located at 6600 Donner Road, accessed from National Ave., one mile west of Highway 267 and one mile north of Highway 28 in Tahoe Vista, CA. The Regional Park encompasses approximately 124 acres of recreational activities. Surrounding the Regional Park on three sides are accessible public lands offering users additional passive recreational opportunities.

Found within the Regional Park are five night-lighted tennis courts, three baseball/softball fields, an all weather soccer field, basketball, handball and sand volleyball courts and a disc golf course.

The North Tahoe Regional Park Hiking trails wind throughout the Regional Park and include an 18 station fitness par course and a self-guided nature trail and a paved bike path for access to National Forest land or Highway 267. All of these trails meander through pine, fir and cedar forests with trailheads situated on the Regional Park's main road. Also adjacent are a number of picnic sites tucked away under the canopy of mature conifers. For larger gatherings, the covered picnic ramada seats 100 and provides excellent views of the lake. Conveniently located next to the ramada is a children's playground.

In addition, the Llewellyn Scout Camp provides a camping experience for organized youth groups.

During the winter, a groomed sledding hill provides an inexpensive way for a family to enjoy the snow. The District also grooms some of the hiking and biking trails in the park for cross country skiing and snowshoeing.

The park is open 365 days a year. During the winter the road is plowed to provide access to the groomed sled hill and ski trails. A concessionaire rents sleds and offers snowmobiles for rental on a groomed track.

Summer brings a flurry of activity to the Park. With long daylight hours, residents and visitors utilize the many amenities in the Park to their fullest.
