Outer Aisle FOODS is a solar powered Farmstore offering our own farm grown seasonal produce as well as produce grown organically from a 200 mile radius of Calaveras County. We also stock a wide array of fruits, mushrooms, nuts, grains, cheese, pasture raised and finished meats.

We are the local owners; a husband and wife team working in unison literally from the ground up. We established our farm in 1993, with a handful of seeds from our centenarian neighbors, and a desire to feed ourselves and a passion to live a seasonal lifestyle. Our farmstore, Outer Aisle FOODS, is located just around the corner from our farm in Douglas Flat, California in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains at an elevation of 2,000 feet above sea level.
In addition to growing, we are also co-founders of the Foothill Collaborative for Sustainability (FoCuS) and actively support local school gardens. We began a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) early on in our farming debut which has grown to weekly deliveries that extend from Groveland to San Andreas, from Bear Valley to Copperopolis. We are dedicated to working to educate group’s and individuals in sustainable living and community self-reliance. Evergreen Lodge is just one of the local restaurants to use our produce.
