Parchers Resort

Parchers is a historic High Sierra resort in the South Bishop Creek Canyon, below South Lake. It is also known for local fishing knowledge and know-how about all the streams and lakes in the Bishop Creek Drainage. Comfortable cabins and RV hook-ups are available, and the small general store and restaurant provide provisions. Boat rentals are also available.
Note: Operating under permit with the Inyo National Forest.
Most of the cabins have been recently remodeled, and are in secluded sites. The RV spaces are roomy.
Seasons Open: From Memorial Day through mid-October.
Fishing, boating, photography, hiking, camping, bird watching.
Rate Range: Moderate
Take State Route 368 west of Bishop and up the hill; turn at the South Lake turnoff and the resort is located a mile or so below South Lake.
