Partnerships with the Inyo National Forest Wilderness / Trails Program

Volunteers needed to assist in our trail maintenance program, restoration of redundant roads, protection and signing of wilderness boundaries. Call or email Rick for more information (760-647-3014). Past projects with the Student Conservation Assoc., Friends of the Inyo, Backcountry Horseman, Pacific Crest Trail Assoc. and individuals. Check out the video link!

Types of Volunteer Work Needed

Trail work, wilderness restoration, road restoration in wilderness and front country programs.

Appropriate Ages for Volunteer Opportunity: 18-55

Special Skills that May be Required or Helpful

use of primitive tools, restoration skills, good wilderness ethics
