Photo Safari Yosemite offers personalized guided excursions into Yosemite National Park, enabling amateur and hobbyist photographers to be "at the right place,at the right time". Aiding the photographer in capturing "Post Card" style images while on limited time, in order to make the maximum use of their time while visiting Yosemite, is the mission of Photo Safari Yosemite.

Pat Althizer has a degree in Graphic Arts and graduated from the United States Navy Photography School in Pensacola, Fl. Following 3 combat tours aboard carriers Midway and Hancock, Pat spent 15 years in the San Francisco Bay area as a commercial photographer. In 1980, Pat relocated to Mariposa and has since been working and living in the Yosemite Park mountain community area. His photographic work has been published and used by many of the local entities to promote community and tourism.

1 hour Photo Safari "Walks". Used to help familiarize clients with the use of basic photo techniques. Allows photographer to then visit Yosemite and come back with more than just point and click images.

1/2 Day Excursions Personalized Guided excursions to key places within Yosemite National Park.

1 Full Day Excursion includes a visit to the Valley Floor along with key places within Yosemite National Park.
