The Sequoia Field Institute offers a wide variety of educational experiences in public lands. From barge tours of Lake Kaweah to the summit of the tall peaks of the Sierra Nevada, or a curriculum-based school field trip to a customized bird walk in Sequoia National Park's Giant Forest, the Sequoia Field Institute will create memories for you.

Each year, the non-profit Institute presents a course catalog sure to please every type of nature lover. Extensive backpacking trips, natural history walks, kayaking instruction and winter sports to name a few. EdVentures are a great way to connect with others who have similar interests and to stroll the parks with local experts. If a more personalized park experience is what you seek, guide services are customized to specific interests. There is no better way to gain a better understanding and deep appreciation of the southern Sierra Nevada than through a personal experience led by an experienced guide and naturalist.

Best of all, 100% of the proceeds from fees remains in the parks.
