Sierra Sky Ranch

Established in 1875, Sierra Sky Ranch Resort was the first working cattle ranch in the area; in 1946 it was converted to a guest facility. In the old days the ranch supplied food for the logging camps at Sugar Pine and Soquel. Since then tens of thousands of visitors from all over the world have enjoyed its simple, laid back atmosphere in an environment of natural beauty.

This beautiful ranch, more than 100-years-old, is nestled among towering oaks and pines, and is located beside a sparkling trout stream. It is truly the perfect getaway. Relax on a wide veranda where you can watch kids play in the pool while sipping a lemonade or enjoying a drink from our bar. Stretch out under a tree on the spacious green lawn surrounding this comfortable old ranch house. Or challenge someone to a card game in the game room!

Each room is individually heated and air-conditioned, has a private bath, cable television, and a coffee maker. There are no telephones; however, we do offer free wireless Internet.

The Ranch can accommodate 70 overnight guests. Rooms open out with double doors onto the veranda overlooking the scenic beauty of the area. Our coziest room, the Honeymoon/Sierra Suite, boasts a luxurious king bed and has a separate sitting room complete with it's own stone fireplace.
