Springville Apple Festival

Celebrating more than 30 years, the Springville Apple Festival is a two-day family friendly outdoors festival centered around the Springville Veterans Memorial Park in the heart of town with more than 150 craft and food booths featuring handmade crafts and art with an apple theme.

Just above Springville is a thriving apple-growing region with a large variety of apples from Red and Golden Delicious to the exotic Arkansas Black. The Festival celebrates this regional bounty featuring apple products. Visitors of the festival will find apple pies, apple fritters, apple burritos, apple tamales, apple bread, apple jams, jellies and syrups, apple art, and apple yard and home decor among the booths.

The Springville Apple Festival begins with a pancake breakfast from 7am to 11am, booths open at 9am and contests and athletic competitions occur throughout both days. Live local musical groups entertain crowds at the Gazebo in the park all day. Visitors can enjoy a variety of food, take their kids to Family Town for games and mechanical rides, compete in contests, or sit back and let the kids get their faces painted and join in the antics with the clowns.

Saturday features the Apple Run, a series of races including a 5K, 10K, 2K walk, and kid's races with prizes for everyone. Sunday features the Fat Tire Bike Classic for adults and kids.  The main race is over a challenging 8-mile closed circuit trail in the foothills with arduous climbs and breathtaking descents.  Springville is a village of just over 750 inhabitants, but swells to upwards of 20,000 during Apple Festival.
