Sutter Creek Antiques is located in one of these great old buildings built in 1897 that was originally a boarding house for the miners with an Italian restaurant on the main floor. If only the walls could talk. At its height, Main Street was filled with salons and the tales of striking it rich. This old building is rich with moldings and trim, full of bead-board with turned and decorated posts painted in pleasing colors.
When you step into Sutter Creek Antiques you also step back in time with a store full of eloquent antiques from silver, china, glassware, furniture, advertising and lighting. Sutter Creek Antiques specializes in antique lighting from the 1850s to 1930s. They take pride in their restorations and have provided lighting for historic preservation for many old homes, the California State Parks Museums and movie sets.
