Event Dates: June 24, 2012 - September 09, 2012

Description of Event

Tahoe City's annual free summer music series. The Tahoe City Downtown Association, in partnership with the TCPUD, presents a series of free concerts on Sunday evenings at Commons Beach beginning at 4:30PM.

Concerts at Commons Beach is the largest, free, live music event at North Lake Tahoe . . .
and, it’s right on the Lake!  These community gatherings are the place to be Sunday afternoons in Tahoe City during summer months. The Commons Beach activity area swells to house up to 4,000 people during big events - such as "The Mother Hips" or "Pablo Cruise".

These fun, community gatherings feature both local acts and regional touring artists. All ages are welcome. Picnics are encouraged. Music begins all other Sundays at 4:30pm and lasts until 7pm. Come early to enjoy the Lakeside ambiance with friends and family (there is a fully equipped playground for the little rockers). Your picnic and beverages from home are welcome. Please bring low-back chairs only, and don’t forget sunscreen and a hat. Leave all pets safely at home (and not in your car at the concert!). By audience request, this is a no-smoking venue.

Local food and drink vendors sell ice-cream, sushi, barbecue, salads and more. Beer is on sale, with thanks to our sponsor Alaskan Brewing Company. Wine and soft drinks are also on sale.

A trip to Tahoe City during the summer months is not complete without a Sunday on the beach with live music, friends, family and neighbors and good fun!
