The Cozmic Cafe & Pub

The Cozmic Cafe & Pub

The Cozmic Café & Pub brings new life to one of Placerville’s oldest and most beautiful historic treasures, the Pearson’s Soda Works Building, erected in 1859, and located at 594 Main St., Placerville, in the heart of California's Gold Rush country.

The rustic environment of this old stone building offers a unique atmosphere for this popular natural food café, which supports fair-trade and local sustainable, organic farming.

The Cozmic, as it is known locally, is considered a progressive hub for the Sierra foothill community. Customers thrive on the vibe and always feel fulfilled after eating any of the creative nourishing dishes offered on the menu - open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Jacquie Chandler wrote on June 22, 2010: The food is amazing and worth the wait because it takes a little more time to make such delicious food and you won’t be bored. There is much history and local art to explore and see upstairs and down, plus in the heat of the summer I cannot imagine a cooler place to be - as the cave dining areas are naturally chill.
