Every Saturday, Sunday, and holiday from Memorial Day weekend through the end of September,  the Giant Sequoia National Monument Association offers guided interpretive walks on the Trail of 100 Giants.  The walks are free of charge.  Each walk lasts about an hour and is a great way to get introduced to the natural history of these ancient trees.

The tour guides/interpreters selected by the Association are all local volunteers, many with a vast knowledge of the natural history and ecology of the Giant Sequoias. Volunteer guides are present on the trail from approximately 10 am through 5 pm every weekend. During this time there are two conducted walks, one at 11:00 am and the second at 2:00 pm. The walks begin at the entrance sign of the trail directly across from the Trail of 100 Giants parking lot. Between these events, the volunteers are present on the trail to answers questions and assitance to the Monument visitors.

The Trail of 100 Giants is located on the Western Divide Highway (State Highway 107) between Springville and Kernville in the Giant Sequoia National Monument.  The Giant Sequoia National Monument Association is a non-profit corporation that was founded to promote the conservation and wise recreational use of the Giant Sequoia National Monument.

Length of Walking Tour: About 1 and 1/2 miles. The trail elevation is 6,400 feet.
