Relax in the old-fashioned serenity and comfort of rural California at Wicky Up Ranch Bed and Breakfast, a gracious turn-of-the-century home on an orange ranch located at the gateway of the Sierra Nevada mountains near Sequoia National Park. The innkeepers, 4th generation farmers/owners, enjoy giving tours of the home with its period antiques, 19th century art, collectibles and unique architecture.

The term Wicky Up means shelter in a Native American language. It was chosen by the family around 1900, because there was a native American village on the nearby Kaweah River inhabited by many of the Wutchumna tribe, and still others lived in the hills above the ranch.

Enjoy complimentary beverages on the veranda or in the garden with a background of country sounds and water fountains, or curl up by the cracking fire with a cup of tea and a good book.  Fine music and videos are available for your enjoyment. Lovers of sunsets will be thrilled by the extraordinary displays in the foothills of the southern Sierra Nevada.

After a candlelight breakfast with classical background music, enjoy a walk around the ranch with an extraordinary view of the California central valley.
