The Arnold Rim Trail is a new non-motorized, multi-use trail adjacent to the communities of Arnold and Avery along Highway 4 in Calaveras County. The trail intersects the 8,000 acre US Forest Service Interface area that includes Penny Pines, Cougar Rock, the San Antonio Falls overlook, scenic San Antonio Creek and White Pines Community Park and Lake.
The long-term plan is to tie-in to the truly magnificent public lands including the Calaveras Big Trees State Park and the designated National Wild and Scenic Stanislaus River canyon. When completed the trail will cover an approximately 30-40 mile continuous loop.
Currently, the first 17.5 miles of the Arnold Rim Trail is available on the website.
