Banff Film Festival in Bishop, CA

Since 1993 Wilson's Eastside Sports and Inyo Council for the Arts have brought the Banff Film Festival World Tour to Bishop for two nights in late March or early April. Over the years there have been films about climbing, cormorants, kayaking, mountain culture and much more. Locations have ranged from Greenland to Bolivia to Antarctica.

James Wilson believes that Bishop is the center and heartbeat of mountain sports and culture for California and increasingly, the American West. Always an eclectic menu of films, and different each night, the Banff Film Festival World Tour is THE place to be. The net proceeds go towards the Millpond Music Festival and Inyo Council for the Arts.
