A Parade, Car Show, Live Music, Vendors, Food & Refreshments, Petting Zoo & Kids Korner, 50/50 Horseshoe contest and goods overflowing onto the sidewalks throughout Historic Main St., along with the truly unique 30th Annual COYOTE HOWLING CONTEST, make this a great day in Historic Coulterville... the gold rush town that didn't dry up and blow away! Come on out and exercise your vocal cords and give it a try...no experience required! This annual - now re-imagined event - takes place EVERY YEAR in late September in the town at the base of the John Muir Historic Route into Yosemite intersecttion of Hwys 49 & 132).
The parade and car show starts at 10 am. Competition in the Howling Contest, with categories of Adult, Child, Adult Coyote Pak and 'Pup-Pak' will begin at noon and continue thorough-out the afternoon. Cash prizes in all categories.
The park features the Coyote Hill band performances from 10 am - 4 pm as well as other entertainment, the Coyote Howl contest, Horseshoe Contest, booths, Kiddy Korner, Bounce House and more!
