Footsteps from your room, or better, viewed right from your bed are breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe, one of the most scenic wonders on the planet. Located in North Lake Tahoe, Ferrari's Crown Resort is walking distance to kayaking, boating, paddle boarding, hiking and everything in between to enjoy the wonders of Lake Tahoe. With a superb southern exposure, we have the warmest climate, the warmest water, and the sandiest beach on the lake. But that's not all. In the summer, there are free concerts at Kings Beach State Recreation Area or you can walk to the Mini Golf Course nearby. We are also also close to the Old Brockway Golf Course that hosted the first Crosby Clambake tournament. Ferrari's Crown Resort is within walking distance or a quick drive to variety of well priced restaurants all owned and operated by local folks. In the winter, take a free shuttle bus to one of the many ski resorts close by dotting the North Lake Tahoe winter landscape. Ask us for local insight on what to do nearby, and we'll point you in the right direction and make siure you are well rested for your next day's adventures.
Ferrari’s Crown Resort has been owned and operated by the Ferrari Family since 1955. My name is Dave Ferrari and I have been the manager of our resort for over 25 years, taking over from my brother, who took over from our parents. We are in our fourth generation of families returning to stay at the Crown. Some of my best friends are those wonderful people I met playing here, on the beach at Lake Tahoe, when we were young children. As I think about growing up at Lake Tahoe, I realize that for me, the Crown is like having a big house where your old and new friends come to stay.
We work hard to support our Kings Beach community and the entire Lake Tahoe and Sierra Nevada. We donate over a hundred rooms each year to local groups. We have hosted the artists for Arts for the Schools for over 20 years. Our parents were Citizens of the Year in our area, a distinction I have also received in my time managing the Crown. I am a founder of the local Boys and Girls Club and a Trustee for Sierra Community College, where we worked with the Truckee Donner Land Trust to create a Conservation Easement on the entire property where the college is located. Giving back to our community is just as important as the care and attention we give our guests. When you stay at the Crown Resort, you are helping support local social and environmental efforts, and we thank you.
