Meadowcliff RV Resort

Meadowcliff RV Resort - Part of the old "Mile High Ranch" including the historic Centennial Bluffs, this new RV Resort offers all of the majestic elements of the Eastern Sierra. Wake up to the sunrise over the Sweetwater Mountain range and see the colors of Mt Patterson (11,672 ft high) change with every breath. Watch the shadows dance about the Centennial Bluffs with each passing moment. Every breath is filled with the beauty only the Eastern Sierra can offer! At night, watch as the cliffs are lit up every night for a truly great experience.

Centennial Bluffs - This is the site of a historical event that occurred on July 4th, 1876. A traditional Independence Day celebration was carried out with a picnic of homemade treats, challenging games and crackling fireworks. The highlight of this historic event was when three men, Wood Larsen, John Connell and one of the Cole brothers carried a locust pole to the summit, anchored it firmly in a crevice and raised the American Flag. The cheers of the crowd from below drifted up to what was thereafter known as Centennial Bluffs. A rock monument located just north of the Meadowcliff Lodge & RV Resort is testament to this historic event.

I have passed this place for 30 years on the way to Reno. I stopped for breakfast. I walked in and everyone said HELLO! The best biscuit and gravy ever!! I had the basic bacon and eggs- 4 slices of great bacon- eggs over medium, perfectly cooked. The home fries were red potatoes that were just broiled and seasoned-WOW! I have eaten 1000 orders of biscuits and gravy and this is the best-Tommy Z- san diego
