Packer Lake Lodge is a small rustic lodge surrounded by the Tahoe National Forest with cabins, boat rentals, fishing, and full restaurant & bar, both overnight cabins and weekly rentals.
Lodging Style and Amenities
Very casual and comfortable. Breakfast, lunch and dinner by reservation, which is in two seatings at 6 o'clock and 8 o'clock.
Best part, if you bring in any fish that you catch you will be able to either freeze it to take home or have it prepared in the kitchen here and enjoy for dinner.

Fishing, hiking, swimming, star gazing, horse back riding, hunting during the season, near-by golf courses, mountain biking and just good ole relaxing.

Packer Lake Lodge is located in Sierra City in Sierra County. Take highway 49 to Gold Lake Rd. turn on gold lake rd. and take a left up at the sign that crosses over Salmon Creek marked Sardine Lake, Packer Lake. Follow the signs, and turn to your right at the fork marked Packer. It is 3 miles from there and the road is paved all the way. Packer Lake may also be accessed from highway 89 in Graegle by going across the Gold Lake Road to the Packer / Sardine turn off.
