Ranchito Motel

The original Ranchito Motel was built in 1946. The owner at that time used hand-made slump-stone bricks and recycled wood from a barn that had collapsed in a nearby town. In the 1970s another 15 units were added, clustered around a relaxed spacious forest-like setting, bringing the total room count to 30.

The motel is located in East Quincy, Quincy being the heart of Plumas County. Quincy is the county seat and hosts the historical courthouse, a quaint down town, a museum, and more. Quincy is centrally located for day hikes with hundreds of lakes, the beautiful Feather River, and the Pacific Crest Trail. There are also a variety of golf courses and horseback riding close by.

The Ranchito Motel is independently owned and operated and has more of a cabin in the woods feel.
