Sequoia Lodge on the Kern River

This is my favorite reasonably priced lodge right next to the Kern River, located just a few miles north of Kernville. The rooms are clean and comfortable and it's one of the few lodges right on the Kern River. You can bring your fishing pole and just head down the bank!

Lodging Style and Amenities

This lodge has a log cabin motif and features rooms with king size, queen size and twin beds.

All rooms have a refrigerator, microwave, in-room coffee, air conditioning, wireless internet and expanded cable with HBO. Most rooms have basic silverware, dishes and a toaster. There is an outdoor grill on every patio. There is a fish cleaning shed and outdoor misters for those hot days!

Driving Directions

Bakersfield: East on Highway 178 through the Kern River Canyon approximately 30 miles, left on Highway 155 towards Kernville, go straight in Wofford Heights towards Kernville, drive through Kernville, cross the bridge, make a left at the stop sign on to Sierra Way. Drive 3 miles north to RiverKern. Lodge is on your left.

Ridgecrest/Desert:  Highway 14 to Highway 178 west into Walker Pass. Approximately 40 miles, right turn on Sierra Way just past the Kern River Preserve (can't miss big Kernville sign), stay on Sierra Way through Kernville. Lodge is on your left about 3 miles north of Kernville in RiverKern.
