Every June, Mountain Sage in Groveland hosts the Sierra EcoSUMMIT - two full days of the latest science, land practices, community building, farming, local foods and entertainment. There are numerous workshops, speakers and activities for people of all ages. There are also dozens of booths, interactive displays and vendors in addition to live music and fine, healthy food.
There will be 30 free workshops and seminars as well as the outdoor festival brimming with hands on demonstrations, regional artists, educational booths and live cultural dance and music.
The event is held on a 2 acre historic 1867 homestead nursery grounds of Mountain Sage, site of the Sierra Earth Fest.
The summit and festival are free so that all, no matter what income bracket, or situation, can attend and gain social mixing, the latest applied conservation science and best land practices for the Sierra Nevada.
