The Lodge at Sugar Bowl Dining Room offers Chef Alan Davis' French-inspired California cuisine in the perfect Alpine setting with sweeping views of Mount Disney and surrounded by historical black and white photos displaying Sugar Bowl's rich history. Chef Davis is renowned in the Donner Summit area for his creative and enticing dishes satisfying all types of palate.
The perfect venue after a hike on the Pacific Crest Trail or morning powder turns the Dining Room and Belt Room Bar offer delectable bites and refreshing libations in summer and winter. During summer 2010 the Dining Room and Belt Room will be open Wednesday through Sunday evenings July 7th – September 6th.
The resort will also host eleven Saturday dinners at their exclusive Lake Mary Cabin this summer through September 25th. Enjoy spacious patio style dining with sweeping views of Lake Mary, The Palisades and Mt. Disney. Serving up French inspired California cuisine from 5:30-9pm and supporting local non-profit organizations with 5% of gross earning from each evening going directly to the local charities. The Lodge at Sugar Bowl Dining Room opens for the winter season on December 10th for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Belt Room will also open daily at 11am for drinks,appetizers and snacks.
