With the history going back to 1941, the Pines Resort and Ducey’s on the lake are known as some of the most popular destinations in Central California. With an authentic mountain lodge ambiance, the resort has since welcomed generations of families, business travelers, leisure guests, and celebrities.
The property features the main lodge with two restaurants, 106 guest units, a full conference center, and wedding garden with gazebo deck which holds 45+ weddings a year. The resort also includes The Pines Market with Deli, The Pines Bar, and Gas Station.

Lodging Style and Amenities
The Resort offers 84 two-story mountain Cabins, each with a living room that opens up to a patio with BBQ, fully equipped kitchens, private bedroom with 1 king or 2 queen beds and a bathroom. Some cabins offer lake views and fireplaces, as well as designated cabins to accommodate your four-legged companion.
In addition, in the main lodge, there are 20 lake-view Suites. Each suite offers a split level design and comes with a king size bed and a living room that opens up to a private balcony or a semi-private deck, with a view of Bass Lake. Most suites offer breakfast and in-room spa tubs.
The Pines also offer two specialty rental Homes – The McAlpine House and Sweetland Cabin. These cabins accommodate larger parties (up to 12 people) and offer multiple rooms with full kitchens and fireplace.
The Resort offers free WiFi throughout the property. All rooms have one or two TVs with cable, phone with free local calls, microwave, coffee maker, hairdryer, iron with ironing board and many more amenities for guests’ WiFi convenience.
While on property, guests may enjoy two restaurants, market with deli, bar, and multiple gift stores. All guests are welcome to use free-of-charge resort amenities like swimming pool (seasonally heated), outdoor jacuzzi, tennis courts, basketball courts, playground, or simply relax on the private beach with a lakeside bonfire, or in our spa enjoying a massage.

Along Bass Lake`s shoreline, guests may enjoy a swim, or fish off the docks. There is an on-site marina, which provides boats, canoes, kayaks, jet skis, and other water sport activities. Guests also have an opportunity to observe a family of bald eagles, which have made their home on Bass Lake, along with a wide variety of other mountain wildlife.
Within minutes drive, guests have the ability to explore the Sierra Mountains, local waterfall trails, Nelder Grove Giant Sequoias, and the Sugar Pine Railroad.

Locally or Family Owned Business Notes
Since 2010 the Pines Resort has had local owners – residents of Ahwahnee. Since purchasing the property, they have implemented continuous upgrades, and renovations. They strive to maintain a good relationship with community and customers and try to host many activities and events for the local community as well as visitors to the area.

Pines Resort has limited pet-friendly Chalets Rooms. Guests are asked to agree to the pet policy and cover a pet fee.
